Are you an artist inspired by the beauty and hidden world of Tasmanian fungi? We're calling creatives across all mediums to enter their original fungi-themed artwork into an exciting new competition and exhibition.
Theme: Tasmanian Fungi
From delicate mycelium networks to bold mushroom forms, we invite artists to explore and celebrate the extraordinary diversity, science, and visual wonder of fungi through an artistic lens.

Applications: 1 January – 31 March 2026
Finalists notified: 10 May 2026
Exhibition: 1 June – 31 August 2026 at Cradle Mountain Wilderness Gallery
Opening night: Saturday 6 June 2026
Entry Fee: $30 per entry
Eligibility: Tasmanian entrants only
Accepted Mediums: Painting, sculpture, photography, textile, mixed media, digital art, artisan products (AI art not accepted)
Artwork Requirements: Wall art must be no larger than A3 and weigh no more than 3kg if intended for hanging.
