The venue will be the tall wet eucalyptus forests and the lush evergreen rainforests of Tasmania's south.

Spend a couple of hours scouting for fungi along the trail,and focus on skills for discovering and photographing beautiful mushrooms in wild places. You’ll get the opportunity to work on developing a toolkit for finding mushrooms by habitat type and touch on the parts of mushroom identification and biodiversity science. Along the way, they will be chats about the potential for fungi within the tourism, wellness, and biodiversity conversation space.

We'll focus on appreciation, joy, surprise, and awe... and save hard science, taxonomy, and difficult identifications for another day (unless of course you have questions!)
